OBITUARY
ROMAN DMOWSKI Received Jan. 3, 7 p.m. WARSAW, Jan. 2. The death is announced of Roman Dmowski, Polish politician and writer, at the age of 74. He was the founder and leader of the Polish National Democratic Party which commenced in 1892. Before the war this party favoured Polish union with Russia. Dmowski was President of the Polish Union and National Committees and was the first delegate to the Versailles Conference in 1319. He was Minister of Foreign Affairs in Poland in 1923 and retired from politics in 1924.
