For the second day of the Stratford Racing Club's summer meeting there was a large attendance and brilliant sunshine. The track was in excellent order. The totalisator turnover was £24,486 10s, compared with £23,277 10s last year. The total for the meeting was £56,726 10s, compared with £47,258 last year, an increase of £9468 10s. A piotest was entered by the owners of Naitaro and Little Ruse against Footloose, winner of the Kaponga Hack alleging that he started from the wrong barrier position.
