PLAZA— Don Ameche, Simone Simon and Rob:: : Young are co-starred in “Josette," commencing to-morrow. Simone Simon, Walter Winchell and Ben Bernie have the stellar roles in “Love and Hisses,” screening next Tuesday. Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers are teamed together in “Carefree,” which commences on Friday of next week. M’i.: Franchot Tone, Myrna Loy and Rosalind Russell are starred in “Manproof,” screening on Saturday. On Wednesday next “Stolen Heaven” will feature Gene Raymond and Olympe Bradna with Lewis Stone. Nelson Eddy and Jeanette MacDonald are together again in “Girl of the Golden. West,” commencing on Saturday of next week. REGENT— Commencing on Saturday, ‘‘Bulldog Drummond’s Peril" stars John Howard and Louise Campbell, and “College Swing” has Edward Everett Horton, Jackie Coogan and Betty Grable in the cast. “Captain Scott’s Last Expedition” screens on Wednesday next, supported by “Rose of the Rio Grande.” The programme for Saturday of next week comprises “Professor Beware,” and “Booloo.” DUCHESS— Bert Lahr and Jimmie Savo appear in “Merry-Go-Round of 1938," which commences to-morrow. In “A Day at the Races,” screening next Monday, the Marx Brothers and Maureen O’Sullivan are the stars. CJark Gable and Claudette Colbert are starred in “It Happened One Night,” coming next Wednesday. Victor Jory and Margaret Dare are the principals in “Rangle River,” screening next Friday.
