AMATEUR TRIALS

FINALISTS FOUND REGENT THEATRE ENTERPRISE Finalists were found last night in the series of amateur trials conducted by the Regent Theatre, Wanganui. Five competitors are to appear in the finals: — Miss Z. Watts, Harry Lauder song. . Barrie Trussell, xylophone solo. Daisy Clark, violinist. Jacqueline Pudsey, sc<ng and dance. I P. The audience ! was very appreciative of the talent and voted for five to appear in the finals. The three judges (Mrs. T. L, Sperring, Mr. Neville James and Mr. J. R.
