THE MARKET FIRM. Received Oct. 26, 10.50 p.m. SYDNEY, Oct. 26. At the wool sales 13,243 bales were offered and 12,390 sold, also 1220 privately. Prices are holding well with the Continent and Yorkshire providing the chief buying force, with some support by Japan. Greasy Merino sold to 17d per lb.
