RLAPEHL RIGBY SI B-l MON. MEETING OF MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE. The usual meeting of the above was presided over by Mr. J. H. Hardie. There were also presen: Messrs. F. Soar. M. Gould, W. Hui!. W. Y'orston and secretary. Apologj was received from Mr. M. Friedlander. Inward correspondence was received from K.C.R.U. in regard to rep. ‘ games. Mr. Hardie reported that the Pakeha v. Maori gamp had resulted in a win for the pakehas by 16 points to 11 for the Finnamore Cup. The matter of the final match for | the season 'The Champion of Cham- i pions’ for the Minster Cup was dis- i cussed and it was resolved that this I game he played on September 24. Ohakune juniors and thirds were I declared the winners of the third i competition. Mr. W. Yorston protested a’ the an- j sence of any of the Junction players | in the pakeha team, whilst there was j a preponderance of Ohakune players 1 selected. It was pointed nut to Mr. Yorston • that there were about six Rangataua ; players included. Mr. Soar asked hov. many of the Junction players had turned up. as j selected, to play in the Ruapehu v. | Taumarunui game. He said four had ■ been selected and one turned up to play. The secretary was instructed to j write all clubs re list of injuries re- ; ceived during the season, so that the i money held for injured players could 1 be distributed. All lists are to be in not later than Monday. October 3. Mr. Hardie mentioned that the St. Johns Ambulance was holding a shop nay ?! th? Junction and Town on Saturday next (September 24). I was for a most worthy cause and players had much to thank the ambulance for during the season for the | wonderful heln they had given. It was resolved to ask all clubs to j assist in whatever way possible, by way of small donations in cash or kind and such could be left with .Mr. J. H. Hardie. Ohakune. Mr. W. Yors'on. Ohakune Junction or Mr. L. W. Nation at Raetihi or Ransrataua. It was also resolved to donate £1 Is towards the shop day and a letter of thanks and appreciation of their services during the season sent. The secretary was instructed to write K.C.R.U. to ascertain if there were cups for the winners of the juniors, thirds and school teams during the recent seven-a-side tourney.
