CENTENARIAN DIES
CELEBRATED 101st. BIRTHDAY RECENTLY [ Per Pres® Association.] HAMILTON. Aug. 11. A lew days after celebrating his 101st birthday Mr George Enos Holloway has died at Morrinsville. Mi. Holoway understood that he was the oldest living veteran of the Maori wars and the last of the Fortieth Regiment which took part in the campaign in Taranaki in 1860, and in the Waikato in 1863-64. torn in Devon. Mr. Holloway came to New Zealand at an early age Twelve days ago, when he celebrated his birthday, he appeared in excellent, health for a man of his age.
