TURKISH NAVAL MISSION
Pl RC HASE OF MATERIAL FOR DEFENCE ADVANCE FROM BRITAIN (British Official Wireless) RUGBY, Aug. 10. The head of the Turkish naval mission, Captain Said Halman, has arrived in London regarding the advance to be made by Britain to Turkey by way of a loan not exceeding in the aggregate £6,000,000 to enable Turkey to purchase in Britain the material necessary for defence.
