Texas, California anr 1 Oklahoma, ar-1 rived by the liner Maloja from Lon-j don to-day en route to New Zealand. ’ The group is under the leadership of I Mr. Hobart la Mar, who has played an important part in international oil investigations during the last 15 years. The others are Messrs. Robert Kuss, George Baker and C. P. McDonald. The men assembled at Beyrut. Syria, for investigr tions on behalf of the Amiranian Oil Company of Iran, Afghanistan, but a political hitch cancelled their plans and they were instructed to proceed immediately to New Zealand. They are leaving Sydney by the Niagara on Thursday. Secrecy surrounds the visit, the men declining interviews. Mr. la Mar waved a cable and says that his principals warned him to release no news.
