AGED WOMAN’S DEATH VERDICT OF ACCIDENT A verdict of accidental death was returned by the district coroner, Mr S. ,M. Dixon, at an inquest yesterday concerning the death of Mrs Charlotte Macßean, aged 78 years, who died in the Wanganui Hospital on April 23. The coroner found that the cause of death was shock acting on a heart already weakened by cardiac disease, the shock being the result ot injuries received when a motor-car driven by her husband got out of control and capsized into a ditch. James Barnett Macßean, retired farmer, of (9 Liverpool Street, saia that he was driving along the Marybank flat at about 25 miles an hour when the car suddenly got out of control and capsized into a ditch at the side of the road. It seemed to him that the accelerator pedal hau jammed.
