SPECIAL ORDER CONSTITUTING RAKAUTAUA DRAINAGE DISTRICT pUBLIC Notice is hereby given that ’*> r . ."y Councfi ->t a Special M- eting held on the 7th day of April, 1938, passed a resolution by way of Special Order declaring pursuant to the provisions of Section 168 of “The Counties Act, 1920,” certain lands in the lowe Wangaehu Valley of the Rangitikei County, and being the area described in the notice of the deposit of the plan of such area, published in the “Wanganui Chronicle” newspaper of the sth. day of March, 1938, to be a district for the construction of drainage works therein, and that the name of such district shall be the. Rakautaua Drainage District and further that the said Special Order shall take effect on the Ist day of July, 1938. A full copy of the said resolution is open to public nspection without fee during office hours at the office of the Council at Marton, and at the Wangaehu Co-operative Dairy Company’s Factory at Wangaehu within the district.

The said Resolution will be submitted for confirmation at the ordinary meeting of the Council to be held in the County Council Chambers, Marton, at 10 a.m. on the 2nd. day of June, 1938. HAROLD H.
