Competition from United States exporters was very keen and the market showed a considerable advance, summers being at par, racks and early autumns 3d to 5d dearer, and late autumns and incoming 6d to 9d dearer. A few small parcels of prime winters came forward, bucks selling to 87d and does to 60d. Furriers were also operating freely and bought some good parcels. Following is the range of price:— Small, s?d to 6d; runners, 14d to 16d; summers, llld to Hid; light racks, 223 d to 23Sd; prime racks, 223 d to 23’d; dawny autumns, 25d to 26d; early autumns, 271 d to 30d; late autumns, 46d to 49id; second incoming, 44Sd to 463 d. Incoming winter, 60d to 653 d; early winter bucks, 703 d to 733 d; early winter does, 463 d to 47Ld; first spotted winter bucks, 52d to 56d; second winter bucks, 60d to 643 d; second winter does, 46d to 481 d; first winter bucks, 80d to 833 d; prime bucks, 853 d to 87d; prime does, to 60d.
