Meynell Blomlield, known in wrest ling circles as "Lofty,” appeared i: a contest with Magistrate Walton ad judicating, when he made applicatic: for a reduction in the maintenanc order in favour of his former wif and two children totalling £4 1C weekly, made when he obtained a cl: vorce twelve months ago. In ev: dence he said he had kept up his pay meats until the American trip, whic had resulted in a financial loss, dur ing which his present wife was opei ated on and he had to borrow £25( reaching home with four dollars i his pocket. His taxable income i the States was 450 dollars, his gro.earnings being 950 dollars, includin 250 dollars for the world champior ship bout. His Canadian earnings tc tailed 700 dollars.
