N.Z. FARMERS’ UNION. A meeting of the Bulls bi meh of the NZ Fanners’ Union was held recently, Mr. F. C. Jurgens presiding over a fair attendance of members. Remits to the Interprovincial Conference were read and discussed, and Messrs. J. G. Wilson and J. H. Cornfoot were invited to represent the branch at the conference. SHOOTING FACILITIES. A new shooting pavilioi is to be erected on the Domain for the use of Rangitikei Rifle Association, the Defence Rifle Club, and Bulls Minia-; ture Rifle Club. The building will be | on the rifle reserve, near the present ■ 500yds. mound. BULLS WOMEN’S INSTITUTE. The lirst of a series of card afternoons was held in the Town Hall supper room on Monday. There was a good attendance, and the prize-win-ners were Mrs. J. Tricker senr. and Mrs. A. 11. Escott. Mrs. F. Simpson was awarded the consolation prize.
