JAPANESE .PREPARE NAVAL COMMANDERS COMPLETE RE-SHUFFLE (Times Cable) Received May 2, 11.58 p.m. TOKIO, May 2. Signifying the High Command’s intention to prepare for a pro- • traded war by a change of commanders tired after ten months’ fighting, the navy announces that on June 4, vice-admirals and rear-admirals will be transferred during a complete re-shuftle of the commands in China. Vice-Admiral Hasegawa, Commander of the Third Fleet, will be transferred to the command of the Yokosuka base and will be replaced by Vice-Admiral Oikawa from Yokosuka, which is one of the most important Japanese commands. RearAdmiral Sugiyt.ma goes to the naval general staff at Tokio and will bo replaced as Chief-of-Staff of the Third Fleet by Rear-Admiral Kusaka.
