The Auckland Trotting Club held its autumn meeting to-day in line weather with a large attendance. The track was cutting out early but improved as the day advanced. After being slow to begin Cavan Chief soon reached the front on the rails and led all the remainder of the journey to win by half a length from Transweli, who made a fine effort in the straight.
