THE CITIZENS’ LEAGUE

INTENSIVE PLATFORM Commencing with a meeting at Durie Hill to-night, Mr G. H. Troll, the Citizens’ Mayoral candidate, ana the other candidates on the Citizens’ ticket, have a very busy ten days in front of them. Already meetings have been held in the Opera 'House, Castlecliff and St. John’s Hill, and from today until the election day, May 11, meetings will be held practically every night. The following are the places, dates and times of meetings !□ be held by the Citizens’ candidates and the names of the speakers who are to address the electors at each meeting. Mr Trott will, of course, speak at every meeting:— Saturday, April 30, 8 p.m.—Presbyterian Hall, Durie Hill: Speakers. G. H. Trott, Norman B. Allan, C. N. Armstrong, L. W. Chisholm, and A. E. Halligan. Monday, May 2, 8 p.m.—Keith Street Hall. Speakers: G. H. Trott, Orren Hales, A. E. Halligan, J. G. Pendreigh, J. Siddells and H. H. West. Tuesday, May 3, 8 p.m.—Gonville Town Hall. Speakers: G. H. Troll, Norman B. Allan, C. N. Armstrong, J. F. Millward, D. G. O’Toole.

Wednesday, May 4, 8 p.m.—Wanganui East Town Hall. Speakers: G. H. Trott, Norman B. Allan, G. E. Bennett, Orren Hales, A. E. Halligan, D. G. O’Toole and J. Siddells.

Thursday, May 5, 8 p.m.—Aramoho Boat Shed. Speakers: G. H. Trott, Norman B. Allan, G. E. Bennett, Orren Hales, J. G. Pendreigh and H. H. West.

Monday, May 9, 8 p.m.—Opera House: G. H. Trott and candidates for the council.
