Water tables have been cut and general improvements effected on the clay section of the Mangapapa Road. The power grader plant, has, in addition to keeping the main highway section in order, graded quite a number of roads other than main highways in the southern end of the, county. The old Austin grader has also been utilised for similar work in | the Rangiwahia and Hautapu ridings.
