DRIFT TO FASCISM
JUDGE RUTHERFORD’S VIEW OF AUSTRALIA. Received April 29, 9.17 p.m. SYDNEY, April 29. Judge Rutherford, the leader of an American religious sect, is a passenger on the Niagara which sailed at noon for Auckland. He told an interviewer before sailing that he was convinced that Australia, slowly and surely, was handing herself over to the forces of Nazism and Fascism.
