RETURNED SOLDIERS' ASSOCIATION. ARRANGEMENTS FOR ANZAC DAY. Dr. Graves, president, was in the ehair at a meeting of the executive of the Waverley Returned Soldiers’ Association to make final arrangements for Anzac Day and the annual smoke concert. The annual meeting, election of officers for the ensuing year and smoke concert will take place in the slpper room, Town Hall, on 21st. inst. It was decided to circularise all known returned soldiers in the district to this effect. Arrangements for Anzac Day were finalised as follows. The Patea Band has been engaged and will assemble at the school memorial at 9.15 a.m. A short service is being arranged for the children at their own memorial. The R.S.A., local troop Q.A.M.R. and Legion of Frontiersmen will also assemble at the school grounds and headed by the band will march to the Town Hall for the public service al 10.15 a.m. Mr. J. Finial er. of Hawera, will be the speaker. Following the service the members of the R.S.A. will march to the public memorial where wreaths will be deposited and the Last Post sounded. The public is cordially invited to attend the service.
