RANGITIKEI ELECTORATE
THE NORTHERN BOUNDARY HIHITAHI TO WANGANUI RIVER. Sir,- I write to correct a mistake in the description of the boundaries of the Rangitikei electorate appearing in your issue of the list inst. It is here stated that “Rangiwaea and the country out towards Bell's Junction is now in Waimarino.” In point of fact, the boundary between the Rangitikei and the Waimarino electorates from the Wanganui River on the west to Hihitahi on the cast has not been changed, and Rangiwaea is still, as at last election, in Rangitikei. From Hihitahi so’.’tiiwares the railway line is now the boundary, right to the Taihape b'*rouph whereas in the past the mam road was the boundary from Turangarere southwards. Taihape borough is, as stated, in Waimarino. Taoroa and the whole of the rest of the Rangitikei county east and south of Taihape, together with the whole of the Kiwitca county, are in Rangitikei electorate, the Kiwitea county boundary and the Rangitikei River from Rata to the sea, being the A. eastern boundary of the electorate. ORMONn WILSON. Bulls, April 14, 1938.
