As reported by cable message previously the net profit of the Bank of Australasia for the year ended October 13, was £309,500, compared with £300,960 in the previous year.

The full accounts show that the total of assets has increased from £51,126,417 to £55,846,939. Deposits at. interest are some £1,562,000 larger at £25,174,224, while current accounts have risen from £13,553,470 to £15,601,240. On the assets side of the balancesheet, specie, bullion, Government notes, etc., are shown at £10,055,805, compared with £4,899,822 in the preceding year, and British Government securities at £2,113,057 (unchanged). Australian and New Zealand Government securities and other investments have declined from £7,365,870 to £6.289,355. Advances on securities and other assets stand at £33,460,837, which shows little change from the figure of the previous year, and bank premises are some £lOO,OOO larger at £667,710.
