RANGITIKEI SCOTS' SOCIETY
ANNUAL MEETING.
The annual general meeting of the Rangitikei Scots’ Society was held on
Friday night. Mr. C. Chisholm presiding over a fair attendance. The Chief reported on the year’s working, stating that the financial situation was satisfactory, there being a slight improvement. Election of Officers.—Chief, Mr. J. Ross; Chieftains, Messrs. C. Chisholm and A. B. Abel; treasurer, Mr. A. McDonald; secretary. Mr. D. Moir; committee. Messrs. R. A. Gordon, W. Channings, W. Channings, junr., J. McH. Abel, Grant Simpson and A. Ross, with power to add. It was decided to erect a chimney in the supper room of the hall. Mr. Allison was elected a life member in recognition of his donation of a cup. Messrs. Abel, Moir, Ross, Simpson, McDonald and Chisholm were appointed a hall committee.
