"DANCING FEET”

I i MUSICAL ROMANCE Gay. musical dancing romances are extensively popular with screen audiences to-day, a classic example being the success that attends the presentation of the Fred Astaire - Ginger Rogers productions. This is Republic Pictures’ "Dancing Feet,” with Eddie Nugent and Joan Marsh as the romantic dancing couple, Ben Lyon and Isobel Jewell heading the cast screening next Wednesday at the Regent Theatre. "Idol of the Crowds,” the Universal drama, on the same programme. offers a double-header of excitement. While a breath taking hockey game is going on inside of the Garden, a heart stopping taxicab crash takes place outside. The audience receives the two thrills in rapidfire succession.

"Gloves For Shirts.” Samuel Goldwyn was once a glove salesman. Archie Mayo, his ace director, once sold shirts. While their latest picture, "The Adventures of Marco Polo,” starring Gary Cooper and Sigrid Gurie, was being filmed .they disagreed over a scene. Said Goldwyn: "We'll never get anywhere.
