yodelling hill-billy An exceptional stage booking has been secured by the Regent Theatre for presentation on Easter Saturday, Monday, and Tuesday, when Jack Carter, the “yodelling, Hill-Billy cow-boy” who is now playing New Zealand after a record-breaking Australian tour, will make his first appearance in Wanganui. As a yodellei he is said to have no equal in New Zealand, and he is an extraordinary
exponent of stockwhip manipulation as well. Jack Carter has just completed a two-weeks* season at the St. James’ and De Luxe Theatres, Wellington, where he received an enthusiastic reception, and Wanganui is fortunate to be able to include him in the New Zealand tour.
