BOMBS IN CROWD
PICKED UP BY POLICEMEN BOTH KILLED IN EXPLOSION HAIFA, April 11. Two British police sacrificed their lives in an attempt to save Arabs and Jews from death. Unknown persons threw two bombs among a crowd at the terminal station of the Irak pipeline. A sergeant and a constable dived at the bombs, which exploded as they were picked up, killing both and wounding a number of bystanders. FIVE ARABS KILLED Received April 12, 5.5 p.m. HAIFA, April 11. Bombs killed five Arabs, including tour police supernumeraries, and wounded seven Jews.
