SANDON PLUNKET SOCIETY
The president of I lie Sandon Blanket Society, Mrs. F. S. Collier, presided over a good attendance on a special meeting held in the Town Hall. A motion of sympathy was extended to Mrs. McKelvie.
The report of the visiting nurse for the past three months was as follows: Visitors to rooms, adults 40, babies 36, children 18, total 94; visitos to homes, 21; number of new babies 2.
A hearty vote of thanks was passed to Mesdames Currie and Adams for making new curtains for the rooms. After discussion it was resolved that the members would not cater for the Feilding Band which is to present a programme in Sandon but to make a bigger effort for the annual ball.-
