South Africa is to issue eight animal stamps at an early date for publicity for Kruger National Park, a game preserve. It is understood there will be 100,000 stamps of each value. Hungary has issued a' fourteenvalue set to mark the nine hundredth anniversary of the death of Patron Saint Stephen. Admiral Horthy, regent of Hungary, is to appear in a new issue soon. Liechtenstein has added two more pictorial values to its new set. Greece marked the marriage of Crown Prince Paul with a three-value set, and has also issued its Balkan Entente stamps. Danzig has issued five charity stamps featuring statues. Egypt honoured the Cotton Congress and the Internationa] Radio Congress meetings at Cairo with three value issues. Japan has issued a new half-sen stamp featuring the old trading ships i which were licensed for foreign trade . when Japan was practically isolated from the rest of the world more than : 100 years ago. At least two of Ihe world’s biggest stamp dealers, Scott Stamp and Coin Co., of New York, and Stanley Gibbons of London, England, have decided not to stock or list in future miniature sheets issued in limited quantities. Such limited issues, they claim, are mainly speculative. Miniature sheets issued in large quantities as those of the United Ctates will be carried.
