TO MEET LOUIS BOUT FOR SCHMELING JACOBS’ ARRANGEMENTS Received March 20, 7.5 p.m. NEW YORK, March 19. Mr "Mike'’ Jacobs announced that Louis and Schmeling will meet on June 22. The venue of the contest is not settled. He cabled Schmeling that he must arrive in the United States prepared to start training st least forty days before the match or forfeit, in which case Baer will be substituted. Jacobs explained that he ,vas worried over "ail this war scare in Europe" and did not want Schmeling to arrive too late to train properly. The boxing Board of Control hat selected Ben Foord and Eddie Phillip, to meet in a final elimination bout for the British heavyweight championship. the winner to meet the holder, Tommy Farr.
