EXPORTS FOR SEVEN MONTHS. DECREASE IN CHEESE. j ; Shipments of butter from New Zea» j land last month amounted to 12,82 I tons, making the total exports for th( seven months to February 28, 92,961 tons, as against 91,885 tons for the corresponding period of last season, an increase of 1080 tons. Details of the seven months’ exports of butter compare as follows:

Total tons 92,965 91,885 Shipments of butter from Australia to the United Kingdom last month were 9665 tons, as against 7834 tons for February, 1937. Exports to United Kingdom for the seven months totalled 56,930 tons, as against 44,984 tons for the corresponding period of last season, an increase of 11,946 tons. Shipments of cheese from New Zealand last, month were. 6747 tons, as | against 8802 tons for February, 1937, | a decrease of 2055 tons. Exports of ‘cheese for the seven months ended ' February 28 totalled 48,299 tons, coin- • pared with 50,578 tons for the corre- ; responding period of last season, a 1 decrease of 2279 tons.
