Lady Drummond and Miss A. Drummond, who have been visiting New Zealand, left Wellington by the Rangitiki yesterday afternoon, on their return to England. Miss O’Brien, of Hotel Stonehurst, Auckland, and formerly of this city, is spending a holiday here as the I guest of Mrs. Maurice Earle. Mr. and Mrs. D. Snelling returned last Wednesday evening from Auckland. where they met their son, Mr. Douglas Snelling, on his return from America. Mrs. W. Raine, The Vicarage, Marton, who has been staying with her sister. Miss Roberts, Christchurch, has left for Ashburton, where she will be the guest of Lady Nosworthy. Mrs. C. L. Broad and her daughter, Mrs. G. Linfield, have returned to Gonville from a holiday spent visiting friends in Wellington and surrounding districts.
