In the Sheffield Shield game against Queensland, South Australia, in their first innings, lost eight for 429. Williams made 34, Robinson 49, Bradman 246 and Waite 52 not out.. Bradman gave the holiday crowd a great exhibition of batting all round the wicket. He was finally caught out while trifling with the good bowling of Dixon. Bradman has now exceeded his 6000 runs in Sheffield Shield cricket. MATCH AT MELBOURNE VICTORIA AND N.S.W. Received Dec. 27, 11.50 p.m. MELBOURNE, Dec. 27. In the Sheffield Shield match against New Squth Wales, Victoria, in their first innings, made 415. Hassett made 81 and Pearson 31. O'Reilly took two for 136; O’Brien, two for 88, and White, three for 67. New South Wales, in their first innings, lost two for 74. Fingleton made 34 not out.
