HIGHER PAY OFFERED
OPOTIKI HOSPITAL NURSES. STAFF SHORTAGE RELIEVED. OPOTIKI, Dec. 22. As the result of offers of higher rates of pay the Opotiki Hospital Board has been successful in securing nurses to relieve the serious shortage of staff which has existed for some ; time. The new members of the nurs!mg staff will take up duty at the beginning of the year . Reporting on the collection of fees the secretary informed the board at its monthly meeting that the percentage of fees collected was almost the highest in New Zealand
