PROFIT AND DIVIDEND HIGHER Received Dec. 17, 10.20 p.m. SYDNEY, Dec. 17. Net profits of £453,997 was recorded by Carlton and United Breweries, Ltd., compared with £381,653 the previous year. Dividends on ordinary and 7 per cent, cumulative participating preference shares have been raised from 10 to 12i per cent., which absorb £365,625, leaving £88,370 to reserve.
