PALESTINE TERRORIST

SHEIKH SAADI ARRESTED. JERUSALEM, Nov. 22. Sheikh Saadi, the terrorist leader whom the police have been seeking for two years, has been arrested. DRAMATIC CAPTURE. JERUSALEM, Nov. 22. Saadi was run to earth dramatically near Jenin by a detachment of Second East Yorkshires who scrambled up precipitous hills to reach the village where Saadi was hiding. They surrounded the village under cover of a thunderstorm. The raid was a complete surprise. Saadi was found hiding in a wheat bin in a house. He was armed with two revolvers, but did not resist. Two members of his bodyguard and several villagers were arrested. Saadi will.be tried by a military Court at Haifa on November 24. It will be the first trial under the regulations, under which the officer commanding in Palestine is vested with complete powers over life and death, and from which there is no appeal. It is expected that the summary procedure of the Courts will have a sobering effect on the Holy Land gunmen. The military authorities state that there will be no delay In carrying out the sentences.
