AMBITIOUS TRIP WOMEN’S HOCKEY TEAM SEVEN WEEKS IN N.Z. LONDON, Nov. 22. The Daily Mail says that, costing each member of the team over £lO9 in travelling expenses, the All-Eng-land Women’s Hockey Association is planning a world tour in 1938, including New Zealand and Australia. The tour was originally planned for New Zealand only, but now, discussing ways and means and the extension of the number of members oi English and reserve international teams who have already accepted, so strong a team is certain that Miss W. A. Baumann, the All-England honorary secretary, who will be in charge, said: “We sail in mid-April, and will spend seven weeks in New Zealand. It is a most ambitious trip, and will be a great adventure.”
