R A N GITIREI-CHELTEN HAM RIFLE ASSOCIATION The annual meeting of members of the Rangitikei-Cheltenham Rifle Association was held in Bulls on Monday evening. In the absence of Mr K. W. Dalrymple, the chair was taken by Mr F. J. Soler, and there was a good attendance. It was decided to hold a championship meeting at Bulls on Anniversary Day, Saturday, January 22, 1938, and the entrance fee will be 30s. Black 1 and white targets will be used, anu the use of single-arm slings will be optional in all events, including the service match. The standards were increased as follows: 300 yards, to 48; 500 yards, to 48i, and 600 yards to 47L The election of officers resulted: — Patron, Colonel C. G. Powles, C.M.G.; president, Mr K. W.
