USE OF STRIKEBREAKERS IN AMERICA Received Nov. 19, 7.30 p.m. NEW YORK, Nov. 18. A case which is considered to be of major importance in the field of employer and employee relationship terminated in Connecticut in the acquittal by the Federal Court of James Rand, noted manufacturer of business appliances, and Pearl Bergoff, head of a detective agency, who were charged with supplying strikebreakers to the Remington Rand Company during a protracted strike last year and thus violating the Byrnes anti-Strikebreak-ing Act.
