FRENCH PLOTTERS
STARTLING REVELATIONS Received Nov. 20, 1.15 a.m. PARIS, Nov. 19. Startling revelations continue in regard to the Cagouiards plot. M. Marx Dormoy revealed that 1505 hand grenades, machine-guns, rifles, converted shotguns and over 100 sub-machine-guns had been seized in two days. The police, breaking into a secret storeroom in the offices of river transport contractors in the Bastille area, found 54 cases of hand grenades, 14 anti-tank guns and numbers of rifles and light machine-guns. The directors have been arrested. It is revealed by the Surette investigation that 200 illicit radio stations with a wide range have been located near the barracks of the frontiers, seaports and important airports. Emergency guards have been ordered to shoot strangers entering Government buildings and not stopping after two demands. It is presumed that the arms were mostly smuggled across the Swiss border.
