RONAKI IN HEAVY SEA NO STRUCTURAL DAMAGE 1 Per Press Association. ] AUCKLAND, Nov. 18. Pooped by a heavy sea which crashed on her as she was crossing the Manukau bar about 6.30 p.m. on the voyage from Raglan to Onehunga, the Northern Shipping Company’s vessel Ronaki was swept violently. The decks were smothered, the gaily door smashed down, and the gaily was flooded. The saloon and the officers' quarters were also deluged with water. A small quantity of deck cargo was washed overboard. No structural damage resulted. When the Ronaki reached Onehunga the men were engaged in clearing the quarters of the water.
