The Austrian and German Governments have agreed to reduce Austrian exports to Germany by 40 per cent. because Germany owes Austria £2 - 750,000. A new commercial agreement is being concluded shortly, but meantime a reduction of exports is essential, otherwise Austria’s frozen assets would endanger even her own currency.
