CHRISTMAS BONUS
FOR UNEMPLOYED WORKERS
[ Per Press Association. ] CHRISTCHURCH, Nov. 5.
The Government is giving consideration to the payment of a bomij to unemployed workers this Christmas. The Minister for Labour, Hon. H. T. Armstrong, said yesterday that, something definitely would be done for the unemployed at Christmas, but just what form it would take the Government was now considering. The question of what holidays would be paid for, etc., were being investigated.
