BUTTER QUIETER BUT VALUE MAINTAINED CHEESE SLOWER Received Nov. 5, 5.5 p.m. LONDON, Oct. 28. During the past week the butter market in London has displayed a quieter tone, and on the cheese market a slow tendency has been evident. Current quotations are as follow, those previously cabled being included in parentheses: — Butter. —Danish, 159 s to 160 s (151 s to 1525). Choicest salted: Australian and New Zealand, 151 s (150 s Unsalted: Australian, 156 s (1465). Cheese. —New Zealand: White. 74s (71s); coloured, 73s (69s 6d). Australian, 72s 6d (69s 6d).
