TALLOW, HEMP, EGGS AND FRUIT. English, national pack, 16s 6d to 2ss; English, ordinary pack, 18s to 19s; Danish, 13s 6d to 15s 3d; Australian, 12s to 13s 6d. Apples: Market weakened, but during x'ie last few days demand is improving. Current prices are:— Californian Newtown, 10s to 12s 6d; Delicious, 8s 9d to 9s 6d; Rome Beauty, 8s 6d to 9s 3d; Washington Jonathans, 9s; British Columbian Cox's Orange Pippings, 8s to 11s 9d; Mackintosh Red, 7s to 9s.
