RANGITIKEI RACING CLUB

ACCEPTANCES REVIEWED Excellent acceptances were received night for the Rangitikei Racing Club's one-day race meeting, to be held at Bulls next Saturday, and provided the weather is line on the day’the meeting should be a very successful one. The fields for the two open races are rather small, but better than was the experience of Waverley on Monday. This is mainly through clubs’ delegates rushing through the rescission of the rule regarding hack status. When the hack limits were £2OO and c 4OO respectiv iy the fields for open events commenced to build up, but immediately the limit was lifted country clubs commenced to suffer. The sooner country clubs caused their delegates to make representations in this direction the better it will be for racing generally. The hack fields have filled well, and the racing throughout should be interesting. The following is the list of acceptances. 12.30 TRIAL STAKES (Of £100; five furlongs.)
