The Wanganui Auction Mart will sell from their rooms to-day at 12 noon poultry, grapefruit, fresh assorted vegetables, cut flowers, plants, furniture, paint, Windolite and sundries. WANDERLUST The desire for movement and travel is a marked characteristic of the present age in contrast with the last decade. The shorter working week probably has a bearing on the matter and certainly provides the time in which to gratify the desire. The visit to New Plymouth of the Dominion's latest cruiser—H.M.S. Leander—will doubtless attract a large number of that town by the Sunday excursion which has been arranged by the Railway Department. Particulars will be found in our advertising columns in this issue. MR. W. T. BROOKS’ SALE, TO-DAY (WEDNESDAY) Messrs. Sharpe, North and Co., will sell in their rooms to-day (Wed-’ nesday) a useful line of furniture and effects, on account of Mr. W. T. Brooks. Fruit, produce and poultry will be sold at 1 o'clock. They will also sell 4-cylinder Chev. half-ton delivery van in perfect order. This is a good chance for anyone requiring a really good delivery van.
