Reynolds News says that with a view to checking anti-British radio propaganda the Government will in future control the Daventry transmitter, using it solely for broadcasting the British viewpoint in English and foreign languages. The paper adds: “This will involve the scrapping of the Empire broadcast service, but the opinion is expressed that the Dominions are now well equipped with their own broadcasting services.
