EARTHQUAKE TREMORS

OBSERVATORY'S REPORT I Per Press Association. | WELLINGTON, Oct. 25. Several earthquakes were recorded at the Dominion Observatory during the week-end, all slight in intensity. At 1.55 o’clock on Saturday there was a local shock, the centre being some 70 miles from Wellington. Another from the same locality occurred at 3.47 o'clock, one at 2.20 a.m. on Sunday, the centre being some 80 miles away, and one at 6.45, this one about 280 miles away. This may have been the one felt in Auckland.
