The North Canterbury Racing Club’s annual meeting was held on the Rangiora course this afternoon before a good attendance. The weather was overcast with a fairly strong wind, but no rain fell. The track was in good order. The totalisator recepits were £13,582, compared with £11,377 last year. Results are:— Open Handicap.— 1 Wild Career (J. Macfarlane) 1, 4 Pelmet (W.
