SUPPLIES OF POULTRY
DUNEDIN’S POSITION [ Per Press Association. 1 DUNEDIN, Oct. 22. Poultry will be in better supply here than is reported by a telegram to be the case in Auckland. A local dealer stated that while wheat prices had badly affected small producers, dn the other hand the general farmer was now breeding poultry to a greater extent and the local market would not be in very short supply. Turkeys had been arriving in tine condition from Otago Central, and as his firm alone could supply 500 for Christmas there should be no real shortage.
